Make-up meet on Thursday.
Dorados families,
First let me apologize for not communicating last week. I was out of town and wasn't able to stay on top of items as well as I thought I could.
We have decided to finish making up our meet against the Nauticats that had to be stopped due to the rain and lightning on Thursday morning of this week, June 4 (in lieu of the normal practice). We will be swimming events 39 (where we left off) to event 70 which are the backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. We will not be doing the relays. You are only eligible to swim if you were an original participant in this meet (though I encourage everyone to come and cheer on your teammates). We are not putting out a formal sign up for swimmers or volunteers, the hope is that if you were a swimmer there for the Nassau Bay meet you will show up on Saturday and swim. If you can't we understand and we'll scratch you. Any parents that don't have work or have a flexible work schedule and can show up to help it will be much appreciated. We will primarily need timers and some ready area to help the kids get organized. I would like everyone there by 8:00, 7:45 if you would like to help set up. We will have the kids do some warm ups and shoot for starting the events at 8:30. With only about 30 events to do, we should be done by 10:30, probably sooner.
